Refund and Returns Policy
1. Overview
At Second Shot Golf, we want every customer to be confident in their purchase. Our policy follows the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and outlines when you’re entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair.
We specialise in second-hand golf equipment, including golf clubs, balls, and accessories. Each item is inspected, graded, and described as accurately as possible so you know exactly what to expect before buying.
2. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind, choose the wrong item, or decide you no longer want the product after purchase.
Please read each product description carefully and contact us at hello@secondshotgolf.com.au if you have any questions about an item’s condition or specifications before placing your order.
3. Faulty, Damaged, or Misdescribed Product
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product you purchase is:
- Faulty or not of acceptable quality,
- Not as described, or
- Not fit for its intended purpose.
If you believe your product meets any of these criteria, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at hello@secondshotgolf.com.au.
Please include:
- Your order number,
- A brief description of the issue, and
- Clear photos of the product and packaging.
Once we assess your claim, we’ll offer an appropriate remedy — such as a replacement, store credit, or refund (including any applicable shipping costs).
4. Condition of Second-Hand Products
All items sold by Second Shot Golf are used or pre-owned, and as such may show signs of previous use, including cosmetic wear, scratches, marks, paint wear, or minor blemishes.
These are clearly described in our product listings and reflected in pricing.
Such wear or cosmetic imperfections do not qualify as faults under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Returns Process
If your return is approved:
- We’ll provide you with a return authorisation and instructions by email.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging (where possible) and in the same condition as received.
- Once the returned product is inspected, we’ll process your refund or exchange within 5 business days.
- Refunds will be made using your original payment method.
6. Shipping Costs
If we’ve made an error (such as sending the wrong item or a misdescribed product), we’ll cover all return shipping costs.
For other returns, including those not related to a fault or error, the customer is responsible for return postage.
